5 websites in the country music signing with The Recording Industry Association of Vietnam and MV Corp company simultaneously collect when users download music online, in order to bring revenue to the production unit and artist.
Morning 15/8, in HCM City, representatives of the major online music sites in the country with many manufacturers, agencies and sectors in the field of information communication and cultural arts, media ... presence at the seminar, titled "Music of Vietnam - Status and Solutions".
On this occasion, The Recording Industry Association of Vietnam (RIAV) MV Corp. announced the company is the sole partner associations represent in the management of copyright on the Internet and mobile phones.
Also under this program, MV Corp and the largest music website co-operation agreement. Accordingly, the unit of online music distribution in the bulk water charges are expected to download music online on 1/11. The fee is expected to 1,000 VND per-download music or charges a monthly subscription. Particularly, the online player is completely free. 1000 the fee may be adjusted up or down depending on the actual situation when the program operation.
With the amount of the royalties collected, after deducting all costs, unit distribution and the website will be entitled to 45%. The remaining 55% will return to the unit content providers (singer, songwriter, record label ....). The payment is expected to be made quarterly.
